Eden Share Appoints Scott Pidgeon as First Executive Director & Head Gardener

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — Jul 14, 2026 — Eden Share, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
dedicated to providing therapeutic gardening to underserved communities, is proud to
announce the appointment of Scott Pidgeon as its first Executive Director and Head Gardener.
Pidgeon, who co-founded Eden Share and has served as a board member since March 2024,
officially transitioned into this new leadership role on July 6, 2026.

The appointment follows a unanimous recommendation from an independent committee of
the Board of Directors, which cited Pidgeon as "uniquely qualified" to lead the organization’s
operational and horticultural programs. Pidgeon will oversee the management of the
organization's therapeutic garden sites and lead administrative growth, fundraising and
strategic partnerships.

"Scott’s deep-rooted passion for regenerative agriculture and his decades of leadership
experience in behavioral health make him the ideal person to guide Eden Share as we scale our impact," said Dr. Rose Marie Sime, Member of Eden Share's Board of Directors. "His
transition from volunteer and board member to our first employee is a significant
organizational milestone that helps ensure the sustainability and growth of our programs."

Pidgeon brings over 25 years of senior management experience in behavioral health to the
position and holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) and a Master of Business Administration
(MBA). His passion for regenerative agriculture and wellness has been the driving force behind
Eden Share’s primary initiatives, including the Wellness Garden and the ongoing renovation of
the Fallkill Community Garden.

Looking ahead, Pidgeon will focus on expanding Eden’s Share’s reach with the aim of providing
additional wellness programs to serve more people, while increasing the amount of food grown and donated to help local organizations that focus on food security.
